The Tender Coach is dedicated to helping businesses and organisations of all sizes Win Business!

Following a successful 23 year career in BT where a significant part was in the post of a Senior Bid Manager within the Government ‘sector’ of the business managing small, medium and large tender responses, I moved to a not for Profit organisation where my role was to identify opportunities and prepare all types of tender documentation, PQQ through to ITT, ITN and client presentations.

This work led me to bid, win and deliver a contract for Northumberland County Council to provide specialist support to SMEs who needed help in overcoming barriers and increase their confidence in identifying and responding to tender documentation within the Public Sector.

The project was a great success and led to a great many SMEs collectively winning millions of pounds in single and framework contracts every year of the term of the contract (3 years). I have also supported other local authorities in the north east with tender mentoring services to SMEs.

With more than 15 years continuously working on tenders, and the last 4 years successfully coaching SMEs in tendering to the Public and Private sectors I set up my business The Tender Coach Ltd in January 2012 to continue to help local businesses increase their chances of winning contracts.
